The closed-top closures have Teflon® faced 14B white styrene-butadiene rubber liners and the open-top closures have a Teflon faced silicone septa assembled in the cap. Cap material is black phenolic and cap and liners are autoclavable.With all the organic vials, Teflon and type 1 glass are the only surfaces that will make contact with the sample.
