These bright red, easy-to-open polypropylene (PP) biohazard bags are designed for the disposal of biohazardous waste and plastic laboratory items, such as used tips and tubes. The bags feature a clearly printed biohazard symbol and meet the ASTM 1922 tear resistance and ASTM 1709 dart impact tests. Note that UNU40104 and UNU40120 models, made from HM-HDPE, can only withstand autoclaving up to 121°C. These bags are steam autoclavable for sterilization of waste before disposal.
