Miracloth is a filtration product that is ideal for gelatinous homogenates that is composed of rayon-polyester with an acrylic binder. This can also be utilized for the filtration of cleared neutralized lysates during medium- and large-scale plasmid purification procedures in order to avert contamination with loosely adherent pellet material. Miracloth can also be useful for protoplast isolation. This product has a pore size of 22-25 m and is packaged and sold in a glass bottle.
