The VWR Mini Centrifuge is made to work for the centrifugation of microcentrifuge tubes and PCR strips. This product is designed with a quick-release rotor adapter, which does not require extra tools, that can hold either an 8-Place tube or 4x8 PCR strip rotor. Compared to other models, this mini centrifuge has a higher speed rating of 8,500 rpm/3,884 rcf, which permits quicker spinning of samples. This product also features a a recessed rotor bowl for spill containment, an externally accessible fuse, a rubber coated metal base plate for greater stability and reduced vibration, and a dual safety lock lid mechanism that begins once the operations begins in order to provide secure sample spinning. It comes with a lid in the color of blue.
