These durable polypropylene boxes maintain their integrity under harsh freezer conditions and will not absorb water or degrade like cardboard storage boxes. A three-point hinge and positive catch provide quick access to samples and keep them secure when the box is closed. Boxes are available in seven colors with clear lids. An alphanumeric grid on the lid aids in sample identification. They are autoclavable to 121°C (249.8°F) and have a temperature range of –80 to 121 °C (–112 to 249.8 °F). Racks for chest freezers store up to nine boxes, while racks for upright freezers store up to eight boxes. Each box holds one hundred 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL tubes. Assorted boxes include one box in each of the following colors: blue, green, orange, pink, and yellow.
