A pair of tabs along the top edge of this cardboard receptacle keeps the clear 0.038 mm (1.5 mil) thick polyethylene biohazard bag from slipping out of place. Printed with large, bright biohazard graphics and instructions in four languages (English, Spanish, French, and German), it is packaged flat to save space and shipping costs. The carton and inner bag can be assembled in seconds. Optional, reusable carton cover (for floor model only) provides a wider opening of 20.3 x 24.1 cm (8 x 9.5 inches), permitting safer and more sanitary deposit of wastes into the container. It opens quickly and easily by pressing the built-in release tab. No batteries are required. The carton features a smooth 10.1 x 10.1 cm (4 x 4 inch) area on top for applying labels. The autoclavable lid is color-coded for easy identification. This product allows safe, convenient disposal and incineration of biohazardous waste, negating the need to transfer contents.
