This convection tube is made of high-quality, heavy-duty 3.3 borosilicate glass and is useful for demonstrating the conventional movement of heated liquids. It comes fitted with a filling funnel. The apparatus measures 6 inches wide, 10 inches long (including the filling funnel), and approximately 0.8 inches in diameter. To conduct an experiment, you will need additional materials not included with this product: an item to hold the tubing firmly upright (such as a mounting with clips using a rod and retort base), colored dye, and a Bunsen burner.
