These thermometers feature blue organic liquid fill against lead-free white back glass. They are ideal for use in chemical laboratories, universities, scientific institutions, food and beverage processing, petrochemical laboratories, pharmaceutical/medical industry, manufacturing, dairies, breweries, and distilleries.
Each thermometer is individually calibrated and serialized, with a lead-free glass construction. The calibration report includes corrections to one-tenth of the smallest division, a unique report number, and NIST standards used for the calibration.
Re-calibration services are available through VWR | CATALYST™, offering a 5-day average turn-around time from receipt of your instrument. Simply order the stated catalog number based on how many calibration points are desired. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory, along with a work order form to specify your calibration points (0 to 100°C or 32 to 212°F) and prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects under a microscope, and its performance will be compared to certified standards, with corrections recorded on your signed calibration report.
