The St Louis Motor Demonstration is useful for demonstrating the operations of motors and generators. It consists of a two-pole armature mounted between magnets, supported by steel mounts on a ridged 4" diameter plastic base. The device operates on 3 to 6 V DC, but please note that the power supply is not included. This open design allows students to see each part of the motor in operation, illustrating its basic function.
