Details
Here is the corrected text: This basic Bunsen burner provides a safe, continuous stream of flammable gas for heating, sterilization, and combustion. It features one adjustment, an air flow adjustment sleeve. The design of this burner allows flame control via the valve at the gas output, rather than at the burner itself. This is a very basic, easy-to-use burner optimized for liquid propane. The burner is equipped with a cast, ribbed fuel input tube with an 8mm outside diameter. We recommend using Eisco Item number CH0100A (23.60" long / 60cm length) or CH0100B (35.43" long / 90cm length) neoprene tubes to connect the burner to a fuel source. Each end of the tube has a flexible fitting that can accommodate a variable diameter of 0.28" to 0.42", making it compatible with various sizes on different burners. This improved design features an extended, cast-iron base (4.25" x 4.25") that prevents easy tipping, even when hoses are connected. The burner feet are spaced at all four corners, providing extra stability and allowing the burner to fit comfortably under stands. It also comes with a sturdy "candle stick holder" handle, which is cast into the base to enable safe movement of the burner. Liquid Propane Burners typically have a BTU range of 2,000-3,200. The maximum temperature is approximately 1,550° C (2,822° F). All burners are available for both liquid propane and natural gas. In addition to this basic Bunsen burner, we offer several other options: * Basic Burner (CH0991NG & CH0991LP): A very basic, easy-to-use burner usually selected based on price. * Academic Burner (CH0992NG & CH0992LP): A burner with a flame stabilizer and air flow control, commonly used in academic settings. * Versatile Burner (CH0993NG & CH0993LP): A burner with a flame stabilizer and gas adjustment, offering flexibility to control both gas and air flow to the flame. This is our bestselling and most widely used burner. * Micro Burner (CH0994NG & CH0994LP): A compact option for situations where space and height are limited. * Tirrill Burner (CH0995NG & CH0995LP): A specialized burner designed for finely controlled air-gas mixtures. * Meker Burner (CH0996NG & CH0996LP): A burner capable of producing hotter flames.
