Suitable for use with liquid petroleum gas (propane or butane), it comes equipped with a serrated inlet arm that accepts 6-8mm tubing. The improved design features an extended cast iron base (4.25" x 4.25") that prevents tipping, even when hoses are connected. The burner's feet are spaced at all four corners for added stability, allowing it to fit comfortably under stands. It also features a sturdy "candlestick holder" handle, cast into the base to enable safe movement without risk of harm. Additionally, this burner is equipped with a brass flame stabilizer tip and two adjustable features: an air flow adjustment sleeve to control oxygen intake, and a brass gas adjustment needle valve to regulate gas flow. The BTU range is 2,000-3,200, with a maximum temperature of approximately 1550°C (2822°F). This premium Bunsen burner is ideal for safe, continuous use with LPG gas. It features an air flow adjustment sleeve, brass thumb gas adjustment, and brass flame stabilizer tip, making it suitable for jetting with liquid propane or butane. The recommended neoprene tube (not included) to connect the burner to a fuel source is Eisco Labs Neoprene Hose, available in 2 ft or 3 ft length options (CH0100A or CH0100B). Each end of the tubes has a flexible section that can accommodate variable diameters from 0.28" to 0.42" (8-10mm) to fit different burner sizes. The burner measures 6.75" tall, with a base measuring 4.25" wide and long.
