• VISUAL LEARNING || This apparatus provides a ready means of demonstrating convection currents in heated air. It is based on an early method of ventilating mine galleries before the invention of electric motor-driven fans in the nineteenth century. It also demonstrates the function of domestic chimneys when used in conjunction with open fires. • WHAT'S IN THE BOX || This kit includes two glass chimneys, a metal box with a sliding door, and a wax nightlight. Please note that candles are not included and must be purchased separately. • PRODUCT DIMENSIONS || Fully assembled, this apparatus measures 8.7" x 6.5" x 4". It consists of a metal box measuring 8.7"x6.5"x4" (22x10x16.5cm) with a sliding front door, two glass chimneys, and a candle holder. Candles are not included.
