This product demonstrates the principle of a diffraction grating and how its properties depend on the number of lines per unit length. It consists of a card mount, approximately 90 x 40 mm in size, with three 16 x 9 mm apertures, each containing a replica of a diffraction grating. The gratings have 100 lines/mm, 300 lines/mm, and 600 lines/mm respectively, and are protected by cover glasses.
