This Malvern Eddy Current Unit is designed for demonstrating eddy current braking when used in conjunction with a hand wheel driving unit. The aluminum disc has a diameter of 4.5 inches and features a 20mm driving pulley. Powerful circular magnets are mounted on a pivoted arm, allowing them to be moved over or away from the disc as required. The apparatus is securely mounted on a wooden base, which has rubber stoppers underneath to prevent it from moving or sliding on the surface during use. The unit stands 6.5 inches tall, 7 inches long, and 4.6 inches wide.
