This life-sized male skeleton model stands 62 inches tall before disarticulation and features 23 intervertebral discs, as well as a three-part skull with a movable jaw. The model boasts an extraordinary amount of anatomical detail, including over 200 bones and structures. The left hand and foot are jointed, while the right hand and foot are fully disarticulated. This medical-quality anatomical model skeleton is made from a durable, easy-to-clean plastisol polymer design that can withstand high temperatures. Cast from a real human skeleton, each bone features realistic bony landmarks, providing incredible realism and detail. The model includes all left and right side bones, as well as articulated left hand and foot joints and fully disarticulated right hand and foot joints. The three-piece skull can be opened to explore internal bone structures, and the removable mandible is attached by a compression spring for realistic movement. The skull also features an external acoustic meatus, but does not include nasal bones. This model is excellent for patient or classroom demonstration and allows for detailed study of the human skeleton with its disarticulated pieces, including a full set of vertebrae and discs. Note that the skeleton is not meant to be assembled and does not come with a stand.
