This EISCO Demonstration Motor Generator kit showcases both shunt-wound and series-wound connections for motors and generators, operating with either AC or DC power supplies. Similar to a St. Louis Motor, it is capable of DC and AC operation and can be configured as a magneto, series motor, shunt motor, series generator, or shunt generator. The kit includes a 2-pole armature, commutator, brushes, and a coil for use as an electromagnet, as well as a powerful horseshoe magnet. The motor is easily dismantled to change its configuration. Note: A low-voltage AC/DC power supply is required (not included).
