VCAM1 (human) Recombinant Protein, RP-75751, from Invitrogen.VCAM-1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine activated endothelium. The protein has a number of functions including the regulation of leukocyte migration, leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction and may play a role in a number of inflammatory diseases. This product contains a purified 674 amino acid fragment (aa25-698) corresponding to the mature extracellular VCAM protein with an N-terminal hexahistidine tag. This product may be used as a positive control in many immunological assays.
