This dual-scale hydrometer features a thermometer in the bottom portion, allowing for temperature correction of the test liquid. It has a length of 380 mm and offers three measurement ranges: proof (0 to 200), Tralles (0 to 100), and temperature (10 to 100°F). The thermometer is calibrated to a standard temperature of 60°F. Each hydrometer is individually packaged with a multi-language Statement of Accuracy, indicating an accuracy traceable to NIST. They are calibrated in a triple-accredited ISO/IEC 17025:2005, A2LA accredited laboratory against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST. The hydrometers are certified with an accuracy of ±1% for Tralles (0 to 50°) and ±2% for proof (0 to 100). They have subdivisions of 1°F, 1°, and 2%. All services are performed by an ISO17025 certified lab. Recalibration, certification, and shipping fees are included in the catalog number cost. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory, along with a work order form to specify your calibration points and a prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects under a microscope, and its performance will be compared to certified standards. Corrections will be recorded to one-tenth of the smallest division on your signed calibration report.
