Kemtec Photosynthesis I (Hill Reaction) Kit, Use this kit to perform partial processes of photosynthesis in the laboratory, Each

Details
Green plant photosynthesis is an oxidation reduction process in which hydrogen is split for water and used to reduce carbon dioxide to the level of a carbohydrate. This proteolysis of water when carried out with isolated chloroplasts is known as the Hill reaction after R. Hill who discovered it in 1937. It is necessary to supply a hydrogen acceptor in carrying out the Hill reaction as isolated chloroplasts do not reduce carbon dioxide directly.Splitting of water with evolution of oxygen and release of hydrogen is measurable in course of the reaction by bleaching of hydrogen acceptor using a spectrophotometer or visual examinationThis reaction is run in light and in dark to demonstrate light dependence of the reactionFor grades 9 to 14Class size: 24 student
