This product offers a quick and clean way to visualize magnetic fields. The demonstrator features a transparent acrylic case holding iron filings suspended in a fluid of mineral oil. When placed over a magnet, the field pattern can be viewed directly or projected onto an overhead screen for classroom demonstrations. The demonstrator measures 8" x 4½" x ⅝".
