Applications: Blue Caps fit EMPTY FASTPREP tubes and are used in Fastprep systems to hold sample for homogenization. Available separately for those who wish to fill their own Lysing Matrix Tubes.Product : Lysing Matrix B tubes have blue caps found in Fast RNA Pro Blue Kit which are used for isolation of total RNA from gram positive and gram negative bacteria.Recommended Use: Use with Empty FastPrep Tubes. Add sample to empty tube, add appropriate Lysing Matrix material and lysing buffer and apply cap. Process using FastPrep instrument or other bead-beater to lyse, grind or homogenize sample.Store at Room Temperature (15 to 30°C).
