This uniquely designed spring scale (dynamometer) features a clear tube, making its inner workings visible. The elongation of the spring corresponds to a specific force, which is noted on the printed scale. Different spring scales have different spring qualities to reflect the desired maximum load capacity. These color-coded spring scales feature both gram and Newton scales. Unlike other spring scales, the plunger at one end allows for measuring pushing forces as well as pulling forces. Additionally, the spring scale can be pulled back to a desired force and then released, imparting a known force to a projectile. The long top loop and large S hook are both made from durable steel.
