This apparatus set provides all the necessary components for studying reflection and refraction, as well as calculating the Index of Refraction and Snell's Law. The rotating protractor provides a high degree of accuracy when making measurements and an easy way to change angles without disturbing the light source or the projection background. A light source is mounted on the base, which accepts single, double, triple, or wide slit attachments. The included acrylic semi-circle chamber can be filled with different mediums for measuring the index of refraction. The set includes a base support stand with a rotating protractor, a mountable lighting apparatus, an acrylic semi-circle block, an acrylic semi-circle dish with angle measurements, two 12V 24W light bulbs, two metal shields, an acrylic lens, a single/double slit slide, and a triple slit/wide slit slide. A 12V DC power supply is required to run the light source but is not included. This apparatus helps students easily study reflection and refraction.
