This wide range of combined-form hydrometers is used in the food and beverage, and other industries to measure % sucrose by weight in various ranges from 0° to 61° Brix. Each hydrometer includes a convenient, built-in thermometer with a temperature scale of 0/50°C.
Each hydrometer conforms to the accuracy requirements for ASTM thermo-hydrometers and is individually serialized. They are hand-inspected by a U.S. quality team and packaged with a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST.
The thermometer contains mercury-free, blue spirit organic liquid fill. The length of the hydrometer is 381 mm (15"), and it has lead-free ballast and glass. The temperature standardization is 20°C.
Caution: Combined form hydrometers should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place, and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures. Enclosed thermometers should be used as a general reference only. For temperature critical applications, a calibrated standard thermometer is recommended.

All the service will be performed by an ISO17025 certified lab. Recalibration, certification, and shipping fees are all included in the catalog number cost. Simply order the stated catalog number based on how many calibration points are desired.
You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory along with a work order form to specify your calibration points and prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects under a microscope, and the performance of your instrument will be compared to certified standards and corrections to one-tenth of the smallest division recorded on your signed calibration report.
Your calibration report and instrument are carefully repacked returned to you with prepaid standard ground shipping. We also provide expedited service options available upon request.
