Irradiated non-skid shoe covers have been engineered to optimize skid resistance, barrier protection, cleanliness, and comfort. They are gamma irradiated to a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10^-4 to address the concern of bio-burden contamination. Manufactured in an ISO Class 8 (FED-STD-209E Class 100,000/M6.5) cleanroom. The shoe covers feature abrasion resistance of 1000 (sole) and non-skid soles that provide maximum traction on wet and smooth surfaces with a superior coefficient of friction. They are constructed of impervious material and have a clean, low-linting fabric. Shoe covers are rigorously tested and manufactured in an ISO Certified facility under stringent process controls to ensure that each product meets exacting quality standards and performs to specification. Products are validated through independent lab testing. Available in various sizes (Universal, M, L, XL), these shoe covers come bulk packed in sealed polyethylene bags contained within a larger carton liner. Each case is supplied with a certificate of irradiation. The white-colored shoe covers have a tearing strength of 5.7 (Widthwise Yarns), tensile strength of 20.3 (Filling), particle shedding (Helmke Drum) at Level I, bacterial filtration efficiency of >99.9%, H₂O resistance: Pass, and synth. blood penetration resistance: Pass.
