VWR Spear Shaped Dissection Needles are made from ASTM (899-94) Series 400 stainless steel. They come with either a single-cutting edge or a double-cutting edge, and each format features a stainless steel handle. These needles boast several key features: they are passivated, have a hexagonal shape, and feature a stainless steel handle. Additionally, they are compatible with gamma, ETO, and autoclavable sterilization methods. We offer two variations of these dissection needles: VWR Spear Shaped Dissection Needle, Double-Cutting Edge: 5 cm (2") in length, made from stainless steel, with a cat. no. of 10806-324, and featuring spear tips. VWR Spear Shaped Dissection Needle, Single-Cutting Edge: 5 cm (2") in length, made from stainless steel, with a cat. no. of 10806-322, and featuring half-spear tips.
