Stopwatches are designed for routine quality control and experimental needs in laboratories, as well as for the exacting demands of timing industrial tests, enzyme analysis, or research results. The large 1 cm (¹³/₃₂") LCD readout is visible both indoors and outdoors. Memory permits display of times after the event has concluded. A powerful battery provides four years of continuous use.
The readout displays 9 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds, and 99 hundredths. All stopwatches feature interval split, cumulative split, single action timing, time-out/time-in, continuous roll-over timing, and countdown alarm timing. Model 62379-207 has a dual display that shows cumulative and interval splits, as well as eight recallable memories; the countdown timing function can be set to repeat on automatic cycles.
Models 62379-229 and 62379-230 have decimal timing (99999.99 seconds, 999.999 minutes, 9.99999 hours), triple display, 500 recallable memories (including fastest, slowest, and average lap time), date display, pacer, and stroke measurement functions.
These stopwatches can be carried in your hand or coat pocket, or worn around your neck. Watertight construction provides positive protection against laboratory spills, even accidental submersion. The quartz-crystal design offers 100 times greater accuracy than mechanical watches.
A serial-numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Each stopwatch is supplied with a lanyard and a two-year, replaceable 1.5 V silver-oxide battery.
