SAF-EVAC™ this patented device prevents the splashing of blood from uncapping sampling tubes. For use with Point of Care diagnostic systems including the i-STAT™ and laboratory hematology slides. SAF-EVAC allows laboratory personnel to dispense whole anti-coagulated blood from the tube one drop at a time. The blood smear may now be prepared without removal of the stopper.
