This non-invasive, no-touch thermometer is ideal for food preparation, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, petroleum products, cleanrooms, electronics, and field use. It takes readings in less than a second, with a field of view of 11:1, allowing it to read a spot of 5 cm (2") from 55.9 cm (22") away. Emissivity is adjustable from 0.1 to 1.00 in 0.01 steps. The thermometer takes Celsius and Fahrenheit readings of solids, semi-solids, and liquids. It features minimum/maximum readings, which allow users to view the highest and lowest readings at any time. The memory function recalls individually captured temperatures and displays the average of all readings made, as well as the difference between two readings. Audible, user-settable high and low alarms signal out-of-range conditions. Backlighting permits viewing in low-light conditions, and the display indicates low battery. This thermometer features Traceable certification, non-invasive measurements, memory functions that recall past temperature readings, a backlit display for low-light conditions, and a hold function that freezes the display at the current reading. A serial-numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The thermometer is supplied with a Type-K probe and AAA alkaline batteries. Note that the supplied probe does not cover the full temperature range of the thermometer.
