The General Purpose Blue Spirit Thermometer features a blue organic liquid fill against lead-free white back glass. It is ideal for use in chemical laboratories, universities, scientific institutions, food and beverage processing, petrochemical laboratories, pharmaceutical/medical industry, dairies, breweries, and distilleries.
Should an individual thermometer calibration report be required, factory-calibrated thermometers or custom calibration services are available. Our USA quality team tests and inspects each thermometer, which is traceable to NIST and individually serialized.
CATALYST™ offers convenient and efficient re-calibration services for your liquid-in-glass thermometers with an industry-leading 5-day average turnaround time from receipt of your instrument. Simply order the stated catalog number based on how many calibration points are desired. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory, along with a work order form to specify your calibration points (0 to 100 °C or 32 to 212 °F) and prepaid return shipping label.
Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects under a microscope, and its performance will be compared to certified standards and corrections to one-tenth of the smallest division recorded on your signed calibration report. Your calibration report and instrument are carefully repacked and then returned to you prepaid.
