**Display Case**
The display case is made of high-impact, chemical-resistant ABS plastic.
**Thermometer Probes**
For thermometers 89094-746 and 89094-748, each sensor probe is sealed in a bottle filled with GRAS nontoxic glycol. The solution insulates the sensor from rapid temperature changes, such as when refrigerator door is opened. Bottle dimensions: 2.5x6.4 cm (1x2.1 inches). Thermometer 89094-750 has two chemical-resistant, waterproof sensor probes. Probe diameter: 5mm (0.2 inches). Probe length: 1.9 cm (0.7 inches).
**Display Features**
The display shows maximum, minimum, and current probe temperatures, as well as room temperature. The alarm feature provides continuous visual and audio alerts when the temperature rises above or falls below a programmable set point, even if the temperature returns to non-alarm range. Dual probe thermometers provide individual readings and alerts for each probe. The sensor and 3m (10') micro-cable continue to perform accurately when submerged in water. Thermometers fulfill all CDC thermometer and vaccine thermometer requirements. A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
