This thermometer has dual channels that allow monitoring via two separate probes. The dual display shows the temperature of one probe or the temperature of both probes, as well as the difference between probes (T1–T2). The thermometer accepts all Type-K thermocouple probes, which can be used with liquids, air/gas, and semi-solids. The stainless steel probe has a 22.9 cm (9") stem with a 3mm (1/8") diameter attached to a 102 cm (40 1/8") cable. The beaded probe is 1.5mm (1/16") in diameter and features a 1.2m (4') fluoropolymer resin cable. The low-temperature stainless steel probe has a diameter of 4.3mm (3/16") and features a 30.5 cm (12") stem with a 12.7 cm (5") handle, supplied with a 2.4m (8') expandable cable. The high-temperature probe has a 3m (10') braided metal wire cable, a smooth tip, and a diameter of 5mm (3/16"). The display is 3.5 cm (1 3/8") high. Memory recalls maximum and minimum readings, and the hold button freezes the display so that readings can be captured and recorded. The serial RS-232 output allows the thermometer to be connected to a computer or data logger for capturing and keeping results.
