Mercury-free thermometers are ideal for use in chemical laboratories, universities, scientific institutions, food and beverage processing, petrochemical laboratories, pharmaceutical/medical industry, manufacturing, dairies, breweries, and distilleries.
The thermometers feature a PFA safety coating that keeps the thermometer liquid and glass encapsulated in the event of breakage. They contain blue organic liquid against lead-free white back glass and have been tested and inspected by our USA quality team. Coated thermometers are just as accurate as uncoated thermometers, but they are not recommended for timed tests as the coating can slow reaction time.

Simply order the stated catalog number based on how many calibration points are desired. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory along with a work order form to specify your calibration points (0 to 100°C or 32 to 212°F) and prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects under a microscope, and the performance of your instrument will be compared to certified standards and corrections to one-tenth of the smallest division recorded on your signed calibration report. Your calibration report and instrument will be carefully repacked and returned to you prepaid.
