Ideal for measuring temperatures in cuvettes, gas systems, reagents, and chemical solutions, or for routine measurements.
This digital thermometer features a high-contrast LCD with 12.7mm digits. Units read °C or °F at the touch of a button. The Data Acquisition System captures, displays, and stores readings in Windows. Data can be read as-is or imported into databases, spreadsheets, word processors, and statistical programs.
Readings are updated three times a second. Features include hold button, minimum/maximum memories, and 50 data logger memories. Units operate on 9V alkaline battery (included) or optional 115V adapter/recharger.
The thermometer comes with a standard quick-response, stainless steel triple purpose probe that features a 1.5m (5') cable and can be used with liquids, semi-solids, or air/gas.
Traceable Products have an individually-numbered Traceable Certificate provided with each unit, which assures accuracy from our ISO/IEC 17025:2017(1750.01) calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability of measurements to the SI units through NIST or other recognized national measurement institutes (NMI) that are signatories to the CIPM Mutual Recognition Agreement. Each product goes through an intense vetting process before it can carry the Traceable name, thus saving you both time and money by not having to calibrate separately. For improved performance, probes should be calibrated as a system with the meter.

The thermometer is supplied with a probe, 1.5m (5') cable, 9V battery, carrying case, and manual. The Data Acquisition System is supplied with an AC adapter, 8.9 cm (3.5") diskette, and 91.4 cm (36") cable that plugs into the instrument and computer serial port.
Re-calibration services are available through VWR CATALYST, which provides convenient and efficient re-calibration services for digital thermometers with an industry-leading 5-day average turnaround time from receipt of your instrument. All services will be performed by an ISO17025 certified lab. Re-calibration, certification, and shipping fees are all included in the catalog number cost. Simply order the stated catalog number based on how many calibration points are desired. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory along with a work order form and a prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects and its performance compared to certified standards. After re-calibration, your calibration report and instrument will be carefully repacked then returned with standard ground shipping. Expedited service options are available upon request.
