Ideal for measuring temperatures in petroleum products or wastewater, and for detecting temperature variations in incubators, ovens, and baths. The rugged case is made of chemical- and shock-resistant ABS plastic and features a handy flip-open bench stand for easy monitoring. This thermometer senses changes between inlet and outlet temperatures in any system setup. It comes with two immediate-response Type-K thermocouple probes that show temperature changes in less than a second. The 1.9 cm (3/4") display shows either probe temperature or the difference in temperature between probes, readable from 4.5m (15') away. The hold switch allows the display to capture readings. All Type-K probes can be used with liquids, air/gas, and semi-solids. The stainless steel probe has a 22.9 cm (9") stem with a 3mm (1/8") diameter and a 102 cm (40 1/8") cable. The beaded probe is 1.5mm (1/16") in diameter and features a 1.2m (4') fluoropolymer resin cable. The low-temperature stainless steel probe has a diameter of 4.3mm (3/16") and features a 30.5 cm (12") stem with a 12.7 cm (5") handle, supplied with a 2.4m (8') expandable cable. This thermometer uses all Type-K thermocouple probes and is Traceable with dual probes. A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate thermometer traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Supplied with two fast-response Type-K beaded probes (61161-372) and a 9V battery, this thermometer offers temperature accuracy of ±(0.3% + 1°C), temperature resolution of 0.1° under 200°C (392°F) and 1.0° above 200°C (392°F). Its dimensions are 76×178×32 mm (3 × 7 × 1 1/4"), with a weight of 0.3 kg (0.6 lbs.).
