This thermometer combines a non-invasive infrared thermometer with a piercing stainless steel probe thermometer. Three LED indicators provide visual cues for HACCP zones: under 4°C (40°F), between 4 to 60°C (40 to 140°F), and over 60°C (140°F). A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA, indicating instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Easy-to-use membrane switches and a rugged ABS body make this thermometer ideal for food labs, food processing, food preparation, and brewing. The waterproof construction allows use in wash-down and other food areas. The thermometer displays current temperature, minimum or maximum temperature, low battery, and emissivity value. Readings are updated every second. Large, bright LCD digits are 6mm (1/4"). The thermometer is supplied with a battery. All service will be performed by an ISO17025 certified lab. Recalibration, certification, and shipping fees are all included in the catalog number cost. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory along with a work order form and a prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects, and the performance of your instrument will be compared to certified standards. After re-calibration, your calibration report and instrument will be carefully repacked then returned with standard ground shipping. Expedited service options are available upon request.
