To verify sample temperatures in freezers, refrigerators, incubators, or ovens with traceability to NIST, our thermometers are designed for accurate temperature reading without sample contamination. Each thermometer comes with a filled bottle that mimics the sample, allowing you to insert the thermometer into the bottle and place it near the samples for best results.
Our thermometers contain organic liquid and feature permanently fused markings and lead-free glass. The bottles contain either glass beads or organic liquid. Our USA-based quality team manufactures and tests each thermometer, which is individually serialized.

Simply order the stated catalog number based on how many calibration points are desired. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory along with a work order form to specify your calibration points (0 to 100°C or 32 to 212°F) and prepaid return shipping label.
Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defect under a microscope, and its performance will be compared to certified standards. Corrections will be made to one-tenth of the smallest division recorded on your signed calibration report. Your calibration report and instrument will be carefully repacked and returned to you prepaid.
