To verify sample temperatures in freezers, refrigerators, incubators, or ovens with traceability to NIST, our thermometers are designed for accuracy and reliability. Each thermometer includes a filled bottle that mimics the sample, allowing for accurate temperature readings without sample contamination.
Our thermometers feature organic liquid, permanently fused markings, and lead-free glass. They are manufactured and tested by our USA quality team and individually serialized.
Ordering is simple: just specify the desired calibration points from 0 to 100°C (32 to 212°F) when ordering the catalog number. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory, along with a work order form to specify your calibration points and a prepaid return shipping label.
Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects under a microscope, and its performance will be compared to certified standards. Corrections will be made to one-tenth of the smallest division recorded on your signed calibration report. Your calibration report and instrument will then be carefully repacked and returned to you.
