Precision verification thermometers are used to verify sample temperatures in freezers, refrigerators, incubators, or ovens with traceability to NIST. Accurate temperature reading without sample contamination is achieved by using the filled bottle (included), which mimics the sample. Insert the thermometer into the bottle and place it near the samples for best results. Thermometers contain organic liquid; bottles are 60ml and contain glass beads. Manufactured and tested by our USA quality team, these thermometers are individually serialized.
These thermometers have been tested and calibrated in an exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005, A2LA accredited laboratory against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST and DKD/PTB. If an individual Thermometer Calibration Report is required, factory-calibrated thermometers or custom calibration services are available. This includes a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy and Traceability.

Simply order the stated catalog number based on how many calibration points are desired. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory along with a work order form to specify your calibration points (0 to 100°C or 32 to 212°F) and prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects under a microscope, and its performance will be compared to certified standards. Corrections will be made to one-tenth of the smallest division recorded on your signed calibration report. Your calibration report and instrument are carefully repacked and then returned to you prepaid.
