Accurately monitor temperatures in freezers, water baths, heating blocks, incubators, and refrigerators with this enclosed temperature-buffered sensor. The triple display simultaneously shows minimum, maximum, and current temperatures. Minimum/maximum monitoring provides high/low readings overnight, on weekends, and for any time period - a significant advantage over current reading-only glass thermometers. The range is -58 to 158°F and -50 to 70°C with a resolution of 0.1° and an accuracy of ± 0.5°C. An alarm feature provides alerts when the temperature rises above or falls below a set point, programmable in 1° increments. The ten-foot micro-cable permits refrigerator doors to close on it. The probe is sealed in a miniature bottle filled with nontoxic glycol, which is GRAS (generally recognized as safe) by the US FDA. The bottle insulates the sensor from rapid temperature changes, and the solid-state probe eliminates mercury contamination in refrigerators. To ensure accuracy, an individually serial-numbered Traceable Certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA, indicating traceability to standards provided by NIST. The thermometer is supplied with Velcro, magnetic strips, a battery, and a Traceable Certificate.
