Thermometers are ideal for round-the-clock monitoring of semi-solids, air/gas, or liquids in incubators, refrigerators, freezers, water baths, and outdoor tanks. They are useful in wet lab/plant areas and outdoors. These thermometers may be placed anywhere. The easy-to-view 6.4mm high LCD digits can be read at a glance. The LCD operates in environments above freezing. The probe with stainless steel sensor performs accurately when underwater. It records the highest and lowest temperature readings over any time period, with reading updates every second. The housing is waterproof and shockproof. Each thermometer comes with a probe featuring a 3m (10') cable, a magnet to attach the thermometer to metal, suction cups, and a Velcro fastener to mount the thermometer on any surface. It also includes a 1.5V silver-oxide battery for one year of continuous "always on" monitoring. A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA, indicating instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Re-calibration services are available through VWR CATALYST, which provides convenient and efficient re-calibration services for digital thermometers with an industry-leading 5-day average turn-around time from receipt of your instrument.
