The Traceable Memory-Card Refrigerator/Freezer Thermometer is a stand-alone unit with data logging capabilities. It records readings from once a minute up to once every 720 minutes on a removable standard SD memory card.
Sealed bottle sensors are insulated from rapid temperature changes when refrigerator doors are opened. The solution in the sealed bottle is generally recognized as safe by the FDA. The cable is easy for the refrigerator door to close and seal. The Minimum/Maximum feature displays the highest/lowest readings for any time period. An alarm sounds and flashes a bright red LED when the temperature rises above or falls below user-set trip points, which can be set in 0.1°C increments. A unique 4-line display shows the temperature of the probe, ambient temperature, humidity, and time of day.
The thermometer captures 5.9 million readings with the supplied 256 MB removable SD memory card. The memory card reader plugs into any USB computer port for an instant report. The text report includes date or time-of-day and sensor readings, which can be sent to any spreadsheet or database. Capturing a continuous stream of data shows the behavior of refrigerators, room areas, or tests. The bottle probe model is ideal for monitoring refrigerators, freezers, and incubators; the stainless steel probe model is ideal for QC and research. Bottle probes meet all CDC, federal, and state refrigerator thermometer requirements. Both models include internal sensors to measure ambient temperature and humidity - ideal for monitoring store rooms, labs, and critical areas.
