This digital stem thermometer is suitable for field studies, wet lab applications, wash-down areas, food testing, and tanks. It features a water-resistant IP65 protection class, making it ideal for use in liquids, semi-solids, and gases. The stainless-steel probe easily reaches into cuvettes, test tubes, flasks, beakers, and more. This thermometer includes accredited calibration documentation that meets the requirements of ISO 17025 and is individually serialized and CE marked. Note that this electronic stem thermometer is not suitable for solids such as frozen items. It has been tested and calibrated in an exclusive triple-accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2017, A2LA-accredited laboratory (Cert #2448.01), against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST. The delivery includes multi-language instructions in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. The thermometer features an extra-long probe, data hold, auto-off, and has a temperature accuracy of ±1 °C from -20°C to +120°C; ±2 °C from -50°C to -20°C and 120°C to 200°C; otherwise ±3 °C. The temperature resolution is 0.1 °C/°F, with dimensions of 267×19 mm (10.5×0.75"). The probe measures 197 mm (7.75") in length and is made of stainless steel. It operates on an LR44 battery type and has a range of -50°C to +300°C (-58°F to +572°F). The calibration points are 0, 100 °C.
