The display case is made of high-impact, chemical-resistant ABS plastic.
For thermometers 89094-746 and 89094-748, each sensor probe is sealed in a bottle filled with GRAS non-toxic glycol. The solution insulates the sensor from rapid temperature changes, such as when a refrigerator door is opened. Bottle dimensions: 2.5 x 6.4 cm (1 x 2 | 1/2 |").

The display simultaneously shows maximum, minimum, and current probe temperatures, as well as room temperature. Dual-probe thermometers provide individual readings and alerts for each probe. The sensor and 3m (10') micro-cable continue to perform accurately when submerged in water. The micro-cable permits refrigerator doors to close on it without affecting the seal. Thermometers feature one-button self-calibration.

Thermometers fulfill all CDC thermometer and vaccine thermometer requirements. A serial-numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
All thermometers are supplied with two AA alkaline batteries, stand, wall mount, Velcro mounting strips, and magnetic mounting strips.
