These tubes are made from USP Class VI PP, which ensures a clear view of the pellet. They incorporate a high-strength wall and can be centrifuged to twice the g-force that most other microcentrifuge tubes can withstand. Amber colored for light-sensitive substances, the tubes also feature flat, pierceable, frosted caps and a side labeling surface. The ergonomically designed caps with smooth surfaces help reduce the potential for repetitive strain injuries.
Ideal for vortexing and shaking tables, these tubes are RNase-, DNase-, and endotoxin-free. Engraved graduations ensure accuracy, provide easy and legible mark areas, fit all common rotors, and are ideal for phenol/chloroform extractions.
